Life can be pretty tiring, and I meant mentally.
I'm currently serving my national service, life is pretty mundane and boring.
Hence, besides hanging out with my friends, I was involved in an Online Community for the past 1 year. I would say it was exciting and interesting. I get to know members in real life and get to meet up with different kind of people. Peixian did accompany me for the recent Ohana outing at Seoul Garden, she almost killed me -_-"
So yep, as a leader of the community, these are the advantages though, which is getting to know more friends and learn my public relation skills (in some ways).

However, the 'not-so-good' points about being a leader is.. everyone has high expectations of you. And I meant really high. I do have expectations of myself but somehow, they expected more. Or maybe I went a lil too fast for this community, and yes I'm taking a much slower pace now. My close friends often reminded me, 'Kent it's just a game' Yeah cool, I know it's just a game. However, heading a community does not seems like a game to me at all. Urm yes I can just stop everything and not torturing myself further but I won't. This online community has been a self-fulfilment 'job' for me. I do enjoy the things I am doing now.

Then again, one thing I felt quite discouraged by.. Friends who discouraged me in some ways or another. Be it actions or words.. I accept constructive comments and remarks ya? But not some lamenting.. complaints.. harsh yet baseless remarks. For those who did visit my tagboard, I'd quite a number of haters taggies. I am putting efforts in the community and I don't remember offend anyone ya? I often remind myself, 'they're kids, forgive them.. they'll grow up soon (i hope)'. I'm just tired.. I hate to be doing all these alone.

She's there to encourage and listen to me though. Then again, she's busy with her work and her own community as well. It seems like, we hardly have the time whereby both of us are free. Furthermore, we're not committed to each other in real life too. I can hardly ask for anything more, thank you for being around..

Though it's a personal blog of mine..

I'm gonna talk about happening on my MMORPG; MapleStory for this entry! Haha.. first time writing about my thoughts on this online community in 1.5 years. Im gonna introduce to some of my friends out there who dont play MapleStory. For the past 1.5 years, I've been dedicating my free time to this online community, namely Ohana in this online game call MapleStory. Well, not that I spent most of my free time on Ohana, I do dedicate time for my close friends still! Anyway, I've about 300 Ohanians in this community. I met up with some of them and get to know alot of new friends though most of them are younger than me ya? :d

The gist of my blog will be.. there's this marriage system in MapleStory, kind of silly to me at first. However, last night I actually proposed to this girl in game!
Her name I won't say (she dont want unknown readers to know her name), but my clique can find out from me when we meet up ya? She's the leader of another big community in MapleStory too, their name is BBG (Black Bandana Guild). I get to know her because our communities are affiliated, allied is the term used in the game. She's 17 this year (yes derrick, i know -_-). Anyway, we often talk about MapleStory and about our own community, such as how we often fret about problems we faced in the community. She's more optimisstic than me, she's usually the one to cheer me up and listen to my complaints and naggings! We do chat about offline topics, not much but I do hope I can get to know her better outside the game ya? We're just good friends for now. I'll leave the rest for the future ^^
